Frequently asked questions
How can I send a birthday message at exactly midnight without staying up?
When you create the note, set it to unlock at midnight tonight. Anyone who opens the link earlier sees a locked gift with a countdown, and it opens right on the stroke of midnight.
Does the person need an app or an account to open the note?
No. You send one link by text, WhatsApp, or iMessage, and they tap it to open the note on their phone or computer.
Is the "Balloons" reveal free?
Yes. The "Balloons" reveal is available as soon as you create the note, no unlock needed.
